My working tool · coming soon
ScentCraft
The software I use to formulate my perfumes. I wrote it myself.
The main pages
The same pages as in the video, still, with a teaching formula: a rose accord.
Why I wrote it
As a software developer, I wanted to see the numbers behind every choice: how fast a material evaporates, how much it really weighs inside a dilution, where the limit is. So I wrote ScentCraft, and today it is the tool I use to formulate and check every perfume, Tears of Memories included.
- Raw materialsMore than eleven hundred materials, synthetic and natural, each with its own sheet: the structure, in 3D too, the physical and chemical data, the odour profile, the IFRA limits. Every value says where it comes from.
- FormulasWeights, dilutions and real percentages, line by line. The IFRA check runs while I type, and the allergens to declare are worked out from the composition of the naturals.
- Before weighingHow the formula evaporates, the drydown hour by hour, tenacity and radiance. And a simulator: I move one ingredient and immediately see how the character changes.
Coming soon
ScentCraft is not on sale yet: I am finishing it and it will be out soon, on computer and phone. If you would like to be notified when it is out, write to me.
